Repticon Sarasota debuted in 2004 at Sarasota's Sahib Shrine. After a few years of well-received shows, Repticon outgrew Sahib and focused on the greater Sarasota-Bradenton area with great shows at the Manatee Civic Center just North of Bradenton. In April of 2010, Repticon brought the first full-scale Repticon expo to Sarasota proper at the Robarts Arena, part of the Sarasota Fairgrounds complex. A great time was had by all. Be sure to look to the future for a twice yearly return of a Repticon favorite in this great new home in Sarasota with room for up to 150 tables of reptile excitement!

Featuring reptile and amphibian breeders and wholesalers, reptile pet products and supplies, educational seminars and exhibits, and fun-filled activities for the entire family!

The LB Reptile Experience

The LB Reptile Experience is a reptile rescue program from Jacksonville that takes over 400 calls a year for both exotic and indigenous reptiles. Their presentation and seminar will be hands on, as the kids get to touch the animals and hold some of them, as they learn the special stories of these rescued herps from Bob Shumaker. If you like meeting the big reptiles, stop by this presentation and learn more.

A Reptile Experience!

Reptile Discovery

Bruce has recently completed his fourth tour of schools across the US. This year year he visited schools for the first time in Louisiana, Mississippi and Arkansas. These tours have now taken him to over 1000 schools in 45 states. Bruce will present programs on endangered crocodilians in the presentation area on Saturday and Sunday, and will offer his full color "Crocodilians of the World" poster!

Field Herping Adventures and Snakes of the Southeast!

Daniel Parker from Sunshine Serpents will be giving a Presentation on Field Herping Adventures.
So if you would like to find out the best ways to enjoy the hobby in the great outdoors, and actually find some reptiles & amphibians, stop by and learn more! Daniel will also be sharing some entertaining stories on his personal adventures finding reptiles in the wild, along with lots of photos! He will also on the next day, be presenting Snakes of the Southeast. Learn which snakes live in your area and how to identify them.

Tortoises!

Bill Murray from Redfoot Ranch and the Central Florida Turtle and Tortoise Club will be speaking in a live animal presentation on tortoises. Tortoise presentations don't happen at every show, so schedule a time to learn more regarding these magnificent animals sometimes known to outlive their keepers!

Arachnids!

Mike Dean from Exotic Kingdom will be giving a presentation focusing on various arachnids. As a breeder of these creatures, he is the man to learn from if you are into animals that even some herpers think are creepy and crawly. If you like tarantulas, scorpions, and other spiders, stop by to see them up close and personal!
