A pet store permit is required to sell reptiles in the state of New Jersey. Cost is $100.00 per calendar year beginning Jan 1 and ending Dec 31. This permit should be applied for 4-5 weeks prior to show, and may be obtained through:

Anyone issued a license will receive a 20 day Receipt Book, and a receipt must be given for each sale. New Jersey Residents are required to have receipts for all animal purchases. If animals for sale are not on the exempt list then a permit is required.
