Repticon was proud to host our Colorado debut with Repticon Denver in April of 2012 in Aurora, CO! Happy herpers met at the Arapahoe County Fairground for a weekend packed with a great selection of animals, reptile supplies and merchandise, entertaining seminars and live animal presentations. With positive feedback all around, the show is planned to return in October, so watch this website for exciting updates on Repticon Denver!

Snake Awareness Day!

Trevor Bedsaul is the owner and operator of T-Bonez Pythons, an administrator of Snake Awareness Day - CO, and a proud member of USARK. Snake Awareness day is a day set up to teach people and help make people more understanding and to accept snakes and other reptiles. He will be talking about some of the history behind how the snake bans got started, further legislative action, combative efforts, and how education and a good appearance of the hobby can positively benefit all reptile keepers.

The Mile High Bug Club will be facilitating a useful presentation, especially to those beginning their herp hobby, on "
How to Choose an Exotic Pet." Learns the basics of the most common and popular species, ask questions, and find out what animal might best meet your needs so that you and your pet may be happy and healthy.

Birds of Prey!!
Nature's Educators is a non-profit 501(c)(3) educational wildlife program. The group is licensed by Aurora Animal Care, Colorado Division of Parks and Wildlife, and the US Fish and Wildlife Service to keep non-releasable birds of prey for education. Nature's Educators travels all over Colorado to teach anyone and everyone about the importance of birds of prey. They strive to get audiences excited to learn about wildlife.
Presentation description:
Join Nature's Educators to learn about the four live birds of prey they will be talking about. You will learn their personal stories, diets, habitats, and more. Enjoy having the opportunity to ask questions, take pictures, and experience these amazing predatory birds up close and personal!

Colorado Herpetological Society will be presenting Native Colorado Species. Come learn about the reptiles you can find in your very own backyard!
