About RobRoy MacInnes of Glades Herps:
RobRoy grew up in Miami, catching snakes, lizards,
frogs, hawks, monkeys, parrots, and "anything that moved" He started selling to pet stores
before the age of ten and has never stopped catching and selling. He worked at pet stores through college, during which he received an AS in
Biological parks technology and a BS in Wildlife Biology from University of
Florida. He operated an
import/export business before partnering with
Glades Herp Inc. in 1989.

Sal Scibetta - Reptile Keeper, San Antonio Zoo
Sal Scibetta, a Reptile Keeper at the
San Antonio Zoo, will be at the show and lending his expertise to a number of presentations. First, he will be educating on "Responsible Pet Keeping," where everyone can learn what best benefits owner and animal alike. Then, join him for a presentation on "Herping Adventures," which will thrill the audience with his recounts of many exploits in quest of reptiles!
Sal Sibetta has been keeping reptiles for close to 30 years (and still has his first turtle which he got at the age of 9). For the past 15 years he has been keeping and breeding various snakes, lizards and turtles. He was an Education Docent at the Montgomery Alabama Zoo for 6 years and has been a Reptile and Amphibian Keeper at the San Antonio Zoo since 2006. He currently is on a leave of absence from the zoo while on Active Duty for the Air Force.

Courtney and Erik Honer are siblings who started a business called
Not So Creepy Critters in 2010. They live in Central Texas and conduct presentations about arachnids, insects, and reptiles to students, teachers, and environmentalists. They also participate in Earth Day celebrations. Their goal is to teach others about critters that are beneficial to the environment and are not so creepy after all. Courtney and Erik wrote a book
Not So Creepy Critters, and the book was published last fall. All photos were taken by Courtney and Erik. Illustrations are by Courtney and Erik Honer and Dylan Crespo.
Courtney & Erik will be part of two events at the show, a meet & greet book signing, along with their 30 minute Powerpoint and live animal educational presentation!
Arachnids!
Mike Dean from Exotic Kingdom will be giving a presentation focusing on various arachnids. As a breeder of these creatures, he is the man to learn from if you are into animals that even some herpers think are creepy and crawly. If you like tarantulas, scorpions, and other spiders, stop by to see them up close and personal!
