"Reptilian Encounters"
with Jeff Mohr
Jeff has been using reptiles and amphibians to educate all ages for over 10 years. While in the Galapagos
Islands,
he received his nickname "El Jefe." More than a mere hobby, he has actively pursuied these
creatures in all facets
of his life. He has appeared on countless local stations as well as national TV.
Here a just a few of his many credentials:
Masters in Zoology
Oklahoma State University
-studying Timber Rattlesnakes
Bachelors in Science
Furman University, Greenville, SC
Tropical Reptile Keeper at Riverbanks
Zoo, Columbia, South Carolina
-while at Riverbanks, Jeff worked
with such animals as anacondas, king
cobras, mambas, gaboon vipers,
monitors and numerous other
fascinating creatures.
Intern at Savannah River Ecology Laboratory
studying all reptiles and amphibians including
publishing a scientific paper on frogs
Tropical Ecology of Costa Rica, Ecuador and the Galapagos Islands with major concentration on the reptiles and amphibians.
Reptilian and Mammalian Ecology of the Desert Southwest
About The National Pet Association – The National Pet Association (NatPET) is the United States' first non-profit national pet protection organization that not only focuses all of its efforts and resources on protecting pets, but assisting and supporting pet owners as well. NatPET represents owners of all types of pets currently being kept in over 71 million American households.
The National Pet Association representative Adam Wysocki will be at the show to discuss current & future legal challenges faced by pet owners at the national level. He will be covering The National Python & Boa Ban in depth with information about the current status of the potential ban, what will likely happen next in Washington, D.C., and what you can do to help responsible python & boa owners now and in the weeks ahead.
Adam will be available before, after, and during The National Pet Association presentations on both days to answer any questions that you may have about the python & boa ban, issues affecting other pets such as dogs, cats, birds, and small mammals, and how The National Pet Association is protecting pets and helping responsible pet owners around the country.
