From the old Southeastern Show series . . .

In January 2007, thousands of guests came out to the Atlanta Reptile and Exotic Animal Show to continue a six year tradition at a great new location at the Gwinnett County Fairgrounds. The success of that show and the following summer show in July at the same location has now established a new tradition of a semi-annual show in Gwinnett County. Repticon returned twice in both 2009 & 2010 in the newer, nicer, and larger Fairgrounds facility that was popular with vendors and guests. This growing show continues to delight thousands of guests in one the nation's largest metro areas, so if you call the Atlanta area home, head out for the biggest and most exciting reptile show in Georgia!

Representatives from Repticon were invited to Atlanta NBC Affiliate 11 Alive to promote the January 2009 Atlanta Reptile & Exotic Animal Show. On hand were a few animals borrowed from our vendors to get viewers excited about the show. Click the link below to view the video.

Repticon Atlanta will feature our Native, and for the first time, Exotic Venomous Display, courtesy of Home Grown Herps and Preserve Venomous. This exhibit offers more venomous reptiles than most zoos. See the spectacular collection of deadly snakes that will be slithering into the show, safely behind glass of course!

BRING YOUR CAMERA!

Yes you heard correctly, renowned Herp photographer Bill Love will again be wowing audiences with tips and tricks on how he gets great reptile photos that appear frequently in Reptiles Magazine as well as many other books and publications, but this time, he will demonstrate how he gets great venomous photos! With some help, he will wrangle and snap shots of live venomous snakes at the show. Be sure to witness this spectacular interplay between man, camera, and dangerous reptile! So stop, camera in tow, and take opportunity to learn "hands on" from one of the best!

Mike Dean from Exotic Kingdom will be giving a presentation focusing on various arachnids. As a breeder of these creatures, he is the man to learn from if you are into animals that even some herpers think are creepy and crawly.
